Bath House    Como, Italy​

The path towards Villa Olmo is characterized by its views towards Lake Como and is the common thread that ties together a series of nodes for both gathering and rest. This path wants to continue along the lake, yet it seems to culminate with the garden at Villa Olmo. The proposal is to allow the path to continue beyond the gates of Villa Olmo by adding a bathhouse as a new node for rest and gathering that grows from the existing path, creates an experiential sequence of its own, an provides an opportunity for the path to continue developing along the lake.
