Incubator Office    Abuja, Nigeria

The proposed incubator office in Abuja injects a professional office program to a part of the city that is dominated by street vendors. This contrast provides an opportunity for local and global cultures to mix in a commercial setting. The office plan is a continuous shape, allowing for investors and business people to move throughout the building and explore other offices and businesses. At the intersections of these continuous, curvilinear spaces, there are shared spaces that maximize the opportunity for people to interact and bounce ideas from one another. The entire complex then weaves in and out of the landscape allowing for temporary markets and neighboring street vendors to spill into the space, creating a connected network between the office and the streets.
